Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java Consultant with extensive experience in Full Stack Development (Java, Angular, React) who can lead large engineering teams and manage end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader capable of managing up to 50 developers, driving architecture decisions, ensuring delivery excellence, and participating in hiring and talent development.
This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to oversee complex enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Architect full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.
- Define technical standards, coding practices, and development frameworks.
- Provide guidance on microservices architecture, API development, and cloud-native solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality engineering standards.
Project & Delivery Management
- Manage end-to-end delivery of large software development projects.
- Lead and coordinate a team of up to 50 developers, architects, and QA engineers.
- Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
Team Leadership & Hiring
- Participate in technical hiring, interviews, and team expansion planning.
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training and development programs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and career guidance to team members.
Architecture & Technology Strategy
- Define system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Evaluate and implement modern frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- 12+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate.
- Extensive experience in Full Stack development with Angular and React.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architecture.
Leadership Skills
- Proven experience leading large development teams (30–50 developers).
- Strong project management and delivery leadership experience.
- Experience in hiring, interviewing, and building engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps and modern development practices.
- Exposure to AI-driven development tools or advanced analytics platforms is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
