Overview:
The Information Security Analyst will audit and monitor systems containing confidential data, support compliance with state/federal regulations, and assist with system security, logging, auditing, and vulnerability management. You will also participate in federal/state audits and help maintain security standards and procedures.
The Information Security Analyst will audit and monitor systems containing confidential data, support compliance with state/federal regulations, and assist with system security, logging, auditing, and vulnerability management. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security conditions and report findings to leadership
- Assist with log configuration, analysis, and reporting
- Participate in audits (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA) and help remediate findings
- Develop information security policies, standards, and SOPs
- Recommend security safeguards for new and existing systems
- Perform periodic security audits and generate reports
- Stay updated on laws affecting privacy, network, cloud, and data security
- Collaborate with IT teams across systems, development, and operations
- Mentor junior staff and support additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security tools, policies, and NIST guidelines
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Familiarity with domain structures, authentication, certificates
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse technical teams
- Security degree or certifications (CISSP) preferred
- Network admin experience preferred

Compensation: $26.65 - $42.70 per hour
