About the Role:
We’re seeking a Microbiologist to support public health by testing wastewater and water samples for SARS-CoV-2 and other emerging concerns. This role involves molecular testing (RNA/DNA extraction, PCR), data analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Do:
âś… Perform wastewater concentration, RNA extraction & PCR testing
âś… Maintain and interpret lab records and results
âś… Conduct QC checks, inventory, and equipment management
âś… Assist in preparing reports and evaluating new lab methods

What You’ll Need:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science (B.S./B.A.)
🧬 Hands-on experience with RNA/DNA extraction & PCR
🔍 Strong knowledge of molecular testing principles & lab safety
đź“‘ Ability to analyze, interpret, and prepare scientific reports
đź’ˇ Familiarity with state/federal regulations in environmental/molecular testing
