Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekends: Not required except for rotating call coverage
Call Schedule: Every 12 days
Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (14 hours)
Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24 hours)
Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24 hours)
Call Pay: Includes pager pay, overtime, and shift differential when called in
Salary Range: $79,000 – $125,000 (USD)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in both clinical and research environments, contribute to student instruction, and support ongoing development of quality and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
∙Perform clinical and research nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, including general and cardiac studies.
∙Operate associated computer systems and imaging technology.
∙Instruct and mentor nuclear medicine students and other healthcare personnel.
∙Participate in the creation and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, quality standards, and objectives.
∙Provide exceptional patient care in alignment with UVM Medical Center’s values and mission.
Required Qualifications:
1.Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
oAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine required
2.Certification:
oActive ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
3.Licensure:
oMust hold or be eligible for Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
4.Verification:
oCollege transcripts must be provided if invited for an interview
Preferred Qualifications:
∙Experience with Epic EMR
∙PET/CT imaging experience
∙Prior work in a Level I Trauma Center
∙1+ year of paid Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
