Business Litigation Trial Paralegal

Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 + All the benefits
Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a Business Litigation Trial Paralegal for their Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for a highly skilled individual with a meticulous approach to case management. The candidate will support attorneys throughout all phases of business litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial processes. This position demands a professional with a minimum of five years of experience in complex business litigation, trial preparation, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support from case inception to resolution.
- Perform in-depth legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and other pertinent legal resources.
- Manage and organize case files, pleadings, and discovery documents efficiently.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as motions, briefs, and summaries.
- Oversee all facets of trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witness interviews, and assembling trial binders.
- Serve as the primary liaison during trials, managing logistics, exhibits, and technology support.
- Provide on-site assistance during trials and hearings.
- Facilitate post-trial activities, including the preparation of settlement agreements and case closure documents.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
- At least 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with significant exposure to business litigation and trial scenarios.
- Proficient with legal research software and e-discovery tools, such as Lexis and Relativity.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capable of working under pressure and adhering to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime during critical trial phases.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
