Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Evaluate and verify images for diagnostic quality before submitting them for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients, self, and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance, reporting any malfunctions for timely repair.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Radiographer in Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
- Excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
