We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team in Tallahassee, Florida. As an ER Nurse, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance professional skills.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
