Position: Registered Nurse Manager - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Florida

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at our facility in Florida. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative team environment. This leadership role is critical in driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and staff development within the ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and operations of the ICU, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor ICU nursing staff, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and support for professional growth.
  • Develop and implement policies, protocols, and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and safety.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor resource utilization, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation requirements.
  • Serve as a role model and advocate for evidence-based practice, staff engagement, and patient-centered care.
  • Address and resolve patient, family, and staff concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of critical care nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (e.g., CCRN) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ICU operations, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management systems.

Compensation: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
