Position: Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator
Location: Gainesville, FL

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator to join our team in Gainesville, FL. The coordinator will manage and oversee patient care related to immune effector therapies, including CAR-T cell therapy and other advanced immunotherapies. This role involves coordinating the entire process from patient evaluation to treatment administration and follow-up care, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of immune effector therapy procedures, including CAR-T cell therapy, from patient evaluation to post-treatment follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and coordination of care.
  • Educate patients and their families about immune effector therapies, including the benefits, risks, and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, hematologists, and nurses, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including pre-treatment assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-up visits.
  • Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment process, addressing any complications or issues and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all aspects of patient care and treatment in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to immune effector therapies and ensure compliance with all clinical protocols.
Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in oncology, hematology, or a related field, with a focus on immune effector therapies preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with CAR-T cell therapy or other immune effector treatments highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and manage complex patient care.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
